Middle School Academy
The Fairmont Middle School Development Program is specifically designed to provide elite hockey players with the extra development they need to reach their full potential. This comprehensive program goes beyond traditional team practices by offering advanced training in partnership with West Coast Academy, ensuring players benefit from best-in-class hockey development combined with top-tier academics.
Athletes in the program participate in three 90-minute on-ice practices per week, each focused on refining technical skills, game strategies, and hockey IQ. These practices are scheduled to conclude by 3:50 PM, allowing students to balance their rigorous training with their academic responsibilities. In addition to on-ice sessions, players take part in two strength and conditioning sessions per week, conveniently held on the school campus. These sessions are tailored to enhance physical performance, prevent injuries, and build the strength and endurance necessary for competitive hockey.
By combining elite hockey training with a supportive academic environment, the Fairmont Middle School Development Program prepares young athletes for success both on the ice and in the classroom, laying a solid foundation for their future endeavors.
